Currently based in West Los Angeles, CA, Lindsey holds an MBA focused in entrepreneurship and has been involved in the development and growth of numerous small businesses internationally.
Lindsey is a graduate of the Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University in Malibu. While at Pepperdine, Lindsey was a member of the exclusive "TEC" (The Executive Committee) program with 12 of her Pepperdine colleagues. She is also a member of the sought-after Beta Gamma Sigma fraternity for being amongst the top 20% of Pepperdine’s graduating class.

Most recently, Lindsey was the CEO of the iTunes app Whilo.
Short for “what I love,” Whilo (Will-o) is a social gifting platform created to make gifting easy. As Co-Founder & CEO of Whilo, Miles helped to design, build and launch the first beta product, rapidly acquiring over 700 beta testers. With the Whilo team, she then utilized feedback from the beta group to update and improve the Whilo platform. Shortly after, the Whilo app was launched publicly on the iTunes App Store and during her tenure quickly grew from 700 original beta testers to over 12,000 registered users.
Also during her tenure, Whilo was accepted as a participant on one of Apple's first reality TV shows, Planet of the Apps. Chosen among thousands of other applicants, the Whilo Co-Founding team was given the opportunity to do a live pitch in front of the Planet of the Apps mentor panel, including: Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Alba, Gary Vaynerchuk and will.i.am. The Whilo app was successfully pitched and narrowly missed the mentorship and partnership of Author and Goop Founder, Gwyneth Paltrow.
Prior to Whilo, Miles invested in and managed a variety of real estate investment projects, successfully attracting $1.1M in funding for the purchase and restoration of a boutique hotel in Lake Tahoe, CA.
In addition to real estate investment and management, Miles founded the consulting company, BLU LA. Focused on startups and small businesses, BLU helped to create, accelerate and manage businesses worldwide, including the initial research and development of a training and coaching program for young adults currently launching in the United Kingdom and already gaining attention from Google and other Fortune 500 companies.
A U.S. citizen, Miles is also a graduate of the University of California, Davis, where she received a scholarship to play four years of Division I soccer for the UC Davis Women’s team and graduated with degrees in Economics and International Relations. She is proficient in Spanish, studying in Madrid, Spain during 2005 and has traveled extensively in Europe, Middle East, Latin America and Australia.
Between her undergraduate degree at UC Davis and her MBA at Pepperdine, Lindsey served as Worldwide Channel, Communications and Marketing Manager for Axsys Technologies based in California.
A publicly traded enterprise, Axsys experienced high growth in both worldwide defense and commercial markets, manufacturing high-definition, stabilized airborne camera systems for broadcast, commercial, government and military markets on a global basis. Having experienced two years of 170% growth and soaring profit potential, the company was acquired by U.S. Defense Company General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) in September of 2010.
